The year is 1250. The Ventrue Prince Calix has ruled Lower Saxony from Stade for 50 years. In this time, others have come from near and far to challenge his rule but, with the help of his loyal court, he has held his crown. In the 24th year of his reign, he named the Elder Brujah Skadi his Chamberlain, and leaves most of the dealings with his court to her.
Skadi’s assistant, a Gangrel named Bjoern, has been heard spouting radical ideologies pertaining to the caste system. He regularly rails against the divisions between High and Low clans; believing that the prestigious positions should be awarded based solely on merit. His recent disappearance has been the subject of much gossip and suspicion within the domain.
